MRVA team attends MIIPA Due Diligence Conference

The team at MRVA has attended the Second Citizenship by Investment Due Diligence Conference organised by MIIPA.

Participation in this annual sector meeting is one initiative in the Agency’s commitment to keep building on its already strong due diligence ethos. MRVA acknowledges that a robust due diligence platform is the fulcrum of the reputation of Malta’s residence-by-investment programme which attracts quality talent and filters only the fit-and-proper applicants for permanent residency in our country.

The training also forms part of a strategic staff development programme that invests in the professional and personal development of employees. Participation in this conference follows on regular due diligence training undertaken by MRVA staff, which coaching serves to keep the team abreast with the newest regulation, challenges and best practices on the market. Indeed, only last week the Agency’s team completed a certificate accreditation course in AML and Terrorism Financing, Risk and Governance, delivered by Lead Training Services. The Agency also partners with external Due Diligence service providers to provide ad hoc training on new areas of interest in the industry’s eco-system.
